The email will contain the password and username details for registering as an employer and employee under the ESIC scheme.
    • Employer Registration – Login to the ESIC portal after confirming the mail and open ‘New Employer Registration’. Then pick the’ Form of Unit’ in the drop-down list and click on the ‘Submit’. The ‘Employer Registration — Form 1’ will appear, and the employer should fill in the details. Form-1 includes information pertaining to the device of the employer, details of the employer and employees. After the comprehensive form is filled by the employer, he/she must click ‘Submit’ button.
    • Payment for Registration – After submitting Form-1, the ‘Payment of Advance Contribution’ page will start and the employer needs to pay the amount to be compensated and pick the payment mode. He/she will also need to pay the contribution for six weeks.
    • Registration Letter – After the payment of six months contribution, the system generates a Registration Letter (C-11) and is sent to the company that will contain a 17 digit Registration Number from the ESIC department. This is valid proof of registration of the employer.
